Living well is a response. A response to life that is natural, easy and perfect for YOU. It’s not a choice to perform based on another’s ideas of what is best for you, but a response to an inner knowing. A “what” that will serve you, to be your best: in mind, body and spirit. Experiencing wholeness sets your life at ease. A knowing that guides you in movement, sustenance, thought, speech, in complete being, so that you thrive. For so long we have sought solutions outside ourselves instead of knowing our self and our innate ability to respond to what is the best. As you become enlivened to the truth of your unique person, your heart, you can experience true liberation — a freedom that allows you to thrive.
Self care is of the utmost importance; the most beneficial ingredient. Find your truth and live it. It is an expression of faith, a following of your heart and sensitivities and embracing truth to develop your inner listening skills and then experience miraculous transformations.
Remember: There is nothing, no thing outside of any of us that offers healing, wholeness, or peace. It lies within us, the key is the ability to unfold our tightly protected or conditioned heart so it can relate and pour forth its blessings on our life. Your heart can be sensitive and fiercely strong at the same time. It embodies the presence of both feminine and masculine energies. When your heart is balanced and open, it offers the truest form of blessing on your life as possible. It is the miracle you seek. It is the peace that passes all understanding. Nurturing, trusting, developing your heart is the most important task to be about in your daily life: it is the key to thriving. The transformation in physical life is the evidence of this truth. This is not a place of judging yourself for unfulfilled desires or negative qualities. It is a place to begin to love yourself unconditionally in spite of shortcomings and disappointments. When you can believe this in your heart, then you can experience a change in behavior: B.E.L.I.E.V.E Behaving Everyday Like I’m Eternal, Valuable, Entitled.
I learned this from don Oscar Miro-Quesada.
The first direction of love should be to yourself, from this all else evolves.
St Paul stated that the love is the greatest above all other human experiences
He also stated that we are all connected and important to the whole; like a limb to a body.
When we realize that we are significant and take value in our part of the whole, then we can live in freedom, fearlessly, with hope, and filled with love for one another.
In order to serve another, we must first come to the end of ourself that is attached to a particular outcome.
There is a flow to all living: the wind, the water, the blood. It is in this flow that life exists in its best state. When the energy, life force is disrupted then breakdowns occur. We are a sum of all the parts and of all our experiences, environments, education, emotions, and energies. Listen to the song of your heart, it’s a conglomeration and unique. Don’t be afraid to sing, to share. You are a piece of the symphony of life and we need you. Find your voice and let it rip in love.
My little granddaughter heard an older brother scream in frustration about all the things he hated. Hours later when the thought was put in her head about time for bed, she started quietly saying all the things she hated. I ask her about something I knew she loved, her princesses. She immediately changed her attitude and said, “I love my princesses.” She is so close to purity at 5 that she was able to make an immediate transition from feeling bad to feeling good. She relaxed and enjoyed the music that was playing in the vehicle, got home and was easy about readying for bedtime.
It may take us longer from feeling bad to feeling good, because we carry a lot of baggage in the form of grief and unwanted experiences, but the possibility for us is exactly the same. We can get to feeling better, we can experience joy, relief. We just need to change our point of focus onto what we love, what makes us feel good. This simple yet profound exercise, repeated over time changes our life to what we know to be true from within: the deepest yearning, that propels us and gives breath to our dreams, ambitions and goals.
Take an evolutionary leap to a place that makes your life harmonious and happy. How? By realizing that you are a powerful creator. We all are.
Detoxify your mind, by allowing good feeling thoughts to pervade.
Focus on feeling good. Place good feeling thoughts in your mind.
Find the best feeling thought you can muster and stay with it until you feel better. Then continue, moment after moment, day after day. Live your life….pay your bills, take out the garbage, but always practice feeling good. Then see your life transform.
There is no thing, nothing, outside of any us that offers healing – wholeness – peace. It lies within us. The key is the ability to unfold our tightly protected or conditioned heart so it can release and pour forth its blessings on our life. Our heart is sensitive and fiercely strong at the same time. It embodies the presence of the masculine and the feminine qualities. When balanced and open, it is the truest form of blessing on our life. It is the miracle we seek. It is the peace that passes all understanding and in all circumstances. Nurturing, trusting, developing our own heart is the most important task we can be about in our daily life, because this is the key to thriving. The transformation in our physical life is the evidence of this truth. As we embody these truths, we can bless others from this peaceful place. The energy of alignment with our true self, our pure heart radiates outward and transmits beams of love, joy, contentment and pure peace. It is felt. It is experienced. Embrace this truth, learn to trust your heart, practice living in the present moment and know that your heart can speak to you. Nurture your heart, nurture your self. Within lives the kingdom of heaven.
Do you desire to get more satisfaction and peace from your everyday life? Do you sometimes feel as if you are stuck in a rut? If so, here is a little exercise to help you back on track. A way to do more of what makes you feel good, so in the meantime (that place that requires work/duty) life is a bit lighter, easier.
First, spend 5-10 minutes in quiet contemplation, mediation, or prayer. This will help clear your mind so you can listen to your heart. Then with paper and pen, begin writing 10 things that light you up. Things that bring joy to your heart and a twinkle in your eye. Do your best to cultivate some of these as you can, no pressure to do so. Just pick one to delight yourself.
Much love to you, may we be lights in this world.

Attractiveness is one of your best attributes! This is not for, or from vanity, but for the sake of positively impacting the world in which you live.
Attractiveness supersedes physical beauty or a slim physique. Attractiveness is wholeness, a completeness that wells up from within and springs forth to the world in: beauty, joy, balance, warmth, love, service, and grace. It is a feature that draws others to be inspired and encouraged.
Attractiveness is a quality that all of us can possess, more often than not it gets buried. We are all made in the image of God. We are the fabric of the Divine. We are one song, a poem whose richness and abundance lies in wait to be expressed positively.
When we focus on the wholeness of being, when we surround ourself with positive, pure energy; Its light begins to magnify within us. Then, Its radiance shines forward and toward the world in which we live.
We can choose to be a vessel of attractiveness. Here are some ideas to help achieve this:
- Fill your mind and body with beauty and hopeful expectations.
- Practice mindfulness by being fully present in the moment. Realize that multi-tasking can be counter productive and consider focusing on what matters at the moment.
- Enjoy the little things in life, such as: the beauty of a sunrise/sunset, the chirping of a bird, the sound of a train, the blowing wind through the leaves, the shapes of the clouds, the splashing of raindrops, the vista of a beautiful photo or the fact that you can read or listen.
There is beauty all around. Open your eyes to it. Draw it in, be filled and then exhale the beauty in the world in which you live. As images of the Creator we all have Divinity with us. As a Certified Holistic Health Coach, I can walk along side you and direct you to habits and practices that will increase your feeling of attractiveness. It’s not just about the food you eat, it’s about the thoughts you think. Send me a note, let’s talk.
My dear daughter, you are magic, we are magic and they are magic! We have just forgotten. In our humanness – which in itself is miraculous, we have forgotten the divine spark that resides within all of us, mostly unkindled.
In some it barely glows. It’s been snuffed out by burdensome cares and harsh teachings of hell and damnation. It has been trained to fear, so it hides, not daring to let the flame leap, lest it be doused with water and the smoke burn the eyes and cloud the vision.
In others that spark ignites and burns brightly, but then a lack of oxygen, spirit, breath, or beauty snuffs it and it gets buried under the ashes.
Still in others wet leaves of the trials of life, floods of excruciating pain, burns, scars, cover over it till it’s not visible, not even to the heart that carries it.
But….all the while the spark is there – it never goes out – never extinguished, it is inextinguishable. Oh, but when the spark is kindled and breathed upon (inspired): magic appears which delights and delivers and dances! It then shines brightly in you, in us, and in them. We are all magic, let us not forget.
When I used to read stories of the horrible conditions in Europe during the Nazi regime, I wondered how Americans could live happily and so disengaged. Shouldn’t everyone be sad and experience the plight of those that were being oppressed? But, as I walked on this Earth and grew in understanding, I learned we are not meant to experience everyone’s miseries. We are not equipped to do so. Grace is a wonderful word: it is a bestowment of a gift, undeserved and not even asked for. It just shows up. It shows up when needed and especially for those in need. The one in turmoil receives the grace, the onlooker feels the misery. Does this mean that the one in peril does not feel the misery? They do, but grace steps in to aid. But what pushes grace away from being experienced? Fear! And how does fear continue in a tumultuous situation? By histeria, misinformation and a perspective that negates the power of light over the darkness. As an onlooker to those in peril, how can we be effective, how can we make a difference? Prayer. The power of prayer is an effective as turning a light on in a dark room. The light overcomes the darkness and prayer is a way to shed love in dark world filled with fear. The eternal Spirit, we all possess, and the cord of humanity that links us together is mysterious, just as the birth of any creature is miraculous. Both extraordinary and ordinary. Prayer can be as simple as sending love to those known and unknown. There is no effort to fill a dark room with light, it’s a process that is proven and works because there is a power source enabling it. Our power source is the Creator and the Spirit is our eternal part that courses mysteriously through us. We are linked together through this Spirit and the cord of humanity. Yes, grieve for those who are hurting, but don’t stop there: pray for them, near and far. Send them love. Yes, share your resources as you are able, but don’t stop there: send them love. We all can be abundant in love, we all can live in this space of unlimited resources of power and grace. We often get mislead by those that wish to control us and lead us to live fearfully, we are not meant to live this way. We are meant to live free and abundant. I was raised Christian and grew to love the words of Jesus. His love for those far and near is the example we need. He taught, just as the Father and I are One, so are You! He came to show All of us how to live life more abundantly. Somewhere along the way the His message of love became distorted and judgement overshadowed Love and fear replaced it. Let us draw together and be still and send love, be love, walk love. Let’s each be an instrument of light, not of fear. When we turn our own fears into prayers of love, then our sense of turmoil is diminished. The feelings of helplessness are relieved. Yes, share your resources, but first pray.
For most of my life, I feel I have been sleep walking – in a slumber, not awake. I have gone through the motions with the zest of my egoic personality. Reaching forward, moving in the direction of my heart, but at the same time unfulfilled and always seeking balance and wholeness. I have always believed that we, as humans, exist in the physical on varying planes of our choosing. My hearts desire has been to transcend the the rote, the ugly, the meaningless and exist on the plane of tranquility in the midst of the necessary doing. The being that was authentically me and didn’t stress nor worry about being right or wrong in the eyes of another. To do no harm to anyone or any creature. To see the sunrise, set, moon shine or not and be content – even thrive in its midst. Although I haven’t transcended my humanity, I have discovered how to know and follow my bliss. It is by living fully awake by seeding my consciousness, so that my subconscious is programed, not from my of environment or genetics (although both greatly influence me), but set free to live free with awakened consciousness. Set free to love and not judge and blow on the flame that unites us together. As much as I live free, I realize I need and yearn for this awakened/awakening community. The strength of those gathered in singularity to live free and encourage each other in love, non-judgement and the beauty of simply living authentically, true to self while acknowledging our creator – experiencing “I am” in its fulness. Join with me. Let’s live fully awake and encourage one another. Please subscribe to my blog and let’s discuss the bright possibilities of commonality, bliss, love and non-judgement. I would love to hear from you. How are you living free? How are you overcoming the negative that is pervasive in our world today? Let’s encourage each other. We need each other.
Julia’s Journal, one year ago today.
This afternoon a turtle strolled into our yard, I read earlier today (The Woman Shaman) that the turtle is a healing ally and I recognized her presence as a kindred spirit. I went out and sat with her while in the grass and toned “I am”. I ask her if she had a message and soon I felt the answer. She liked the intonation and said, human language is not inferior, its just not the universal language. That language is sound, such as the buzz of a bee or the tweet of a bird. We enjoyed each other’s presense and then she began moving on. It was a marvelous experience. 7/24/16 @ home in Terra Ceia, FL
