There is no thing, nothing, outside of any us that offers healing – wholeness – peace. It lies within us. The key is the ability to unfold our tightly protected or conditioned heart so it can release and pour forth its blessings on our life. Our heart is sensitive and fiercely strong at the same time. It embodies the presence of the masculine and the feminine qualities. When balanced and open, it is the truest form of blessing on our life. It is the miracle we seek. It is the peace that passes all understanding and in all circumstances. Nurturing, trusting, developing our own heart is the most important task we can be about in our daily life, because this is the key to thriving. The transformation in our physical life is the evidence of this truth. As we embody these truths, we can bless others from this peaceful place. The energy of alignment with our true self, our pure heart radiates outward and transmits beams of love, joy, contentment and pure peace. It is felt. It is experienced. Embrace this truth, learn to trust your heart, practice living in the present moment and know that your heart can speak to you. Nurture your heart, nurture your self. Within lives the kingdom of heaven.
If I shall speak with every human and Angelic language and have no love in me, I shall be clanging brass or a noise-making cymbal. And if I have prophecy, and I know all mysteries and all knowledge and if I have all faith so that I may remove mountains, and I have no love in me, I would be nothing. And if I should feed everything that I have to the poor, and if I hand over my body to be burned up* and I have no love in me, I gain nothing.
Love is patient and sweet; love does not envy; love is not upset neither puffed up. Love does not commit what is shameful, neither does it seek its own; it is not provoked, neither does it entertain evil thoughts, rejoices not in evil, but rejoices in the truth, Endures all things, believes all things, hopes all, bears all.
Love never fails; for prophecies shall cease, tongues shall be silenced and knowledge will be nothing; For we know partially and we prophesy partially, But when perfection shall come, then that which is partial shall be nothing. When I was a child, I was speaking as a child, I was led as a child, I was thinking as a child, but when I became a man, I ceased these childish things. Now we see as in a mirror, in an allegory, but then face-to-face. Now I know partially, but then I shall know as I am known. For there are these three things that endure: Faith, Hope and Love, but the greatest of these is Love.

Thanks to my friend, Marjorie for sending me this picture. She took it last week, just after the first frost at her Georgian Bay ON home. As she wrote me: it’s beauty is still casting for me. It reminds me of the love we share, although we have only met once. It reminds me of the beauty of her heart and how we all have so much to give in so many ways. Thank you my friend, for the love you share.
